Typically 150mm sewer pipe is installed to grades of 1/200. In good sandy ground conditions this machine has achieved bores in excess of 40m in length and to millimetre accuracy. Generally the machine is operated from inside a standard backhoe trenching box, however timber sets to 3.5m deep and steel caisson shafts have also proved very successful.
