Our microtunnelling equipment is used for for installation of pipelines to exacting grade and line, as required for gravity sewerage or drainage systems.  We can offer microtunnelling equipment which can install pipe sizes from 100 mm through to 500mm in diameter. 

Pipes made from PVC, steel, earthenware fiberglass and concrete can be installed with our systems.

A range of microtunneling systems are available including:

- Slurry Removal,  this system uses a hydraulically stearable head for accuracy and  a circulating fluid, usually water or bentonite, to remove cuttings as a slurry to the surface.

- Stearable Auger,   this system uses a hydraulically stearable head to achieve its accuracy and an auger conveyor to remove cutting from the face.

- Pilot Boring,  this system can be used in soft ground conditions such as sand, soil and soft clays.  Accuracy is achieved by installing a stearable pilot rod, using ground displacement.  Once the target hole is reached a reamer is attached and pipe is installed.
