The Hanlyma HL518B directional drill provides the HDD operator with a powerful, practical, low cost alternative to the complex, computer-controlled machines commonly in use today. The robust hydraulic system is uncomplicated and generally trouble-free and the simple electrical circuit ensures low-cost repairs – whether in the workshop or on site. Strategically located proximity switches prevent accidental damage to machine parts through incorrect operation.  Hanlyma drills incorporate a massive 100 KW Deutz turbo diesel engine, which provides trouble-free starting and all the power needed.

This compact (8 tonne) unit combines a pullback capacity of 18 tonnes and is supplied with 153m of drill rods. Drill rods are forged one piece rod which provide the best option for directional drilling.
